Online registration for the upcoming 2008-2009 USA Delta Region Volleyball season is available on the Delta Region website at www.deltavolleyball.net.
If you played in the Delta Region last season, you will need to RENEW this season. Unless some of your personal information changed throughout the year, you will not have to retype any of the data; it will already be in the system. I would suggest that you look closely at the information that is in the system for any errors that might be included (especially birth date and email address) and fix them as you go through each page. It is extremely important that each member (or parent of a minor) register themselves.this is the only way we can insure that we are getting accurate member information and that the member is receiving the full benefits of being a USA Volleyball member.
Below are the major enhancements for the 08-09 online system:
1.) Electronic Waiver Acceptance: A member must go through the electronic acceptance process in order to submit a membership application online. If the member does not go through the appropriate steps, the registration process cannot be completed online and manual forms will need to be submitted at an additional $ 5.00 service fee. The electronic signature will eliminate the collection of the Waiver and Release of Liability and Participant's Code of Conduct; next year it is expected to eliminate all signed documents. Yea! This should save Club Directors and region staff countless hours in trying to collect and retain all of the signed documents. I would encourage each of you to take advantage of this procedure.
Individuals are required to do the following during registration to satisfy the electronic acceptance requirements:
. Open the link to the USAV Waiver & Release of Liability
. Check the box to agree to the USAV Waiver & Release of Liability
. Open the link to the USAV Participant Code of Conduct
. Check the box to agree to the USAV Participant Code of Conduct
. Check the box to agree to the Use Agreement
. Enter a driver's license or state identification number
For junior members, the following additional requirements are in place:
. A parent/Guardian first name is required
. A Parent/Guardian last name is required
. A Parent/Guardian email address is required (the confirmation emails are copied to this email address)
. Additional text is displayed that the person agreeing to the Waiver & Release of Liability has legal capacity and authority to act for and on behalf of the minor
. A Parent/Guardian driver's license or state identification number is required
2.) Credit Card Acceptance: Credit Card payment of USAV membership fee will be accepted
