Every time you are in the Metro gym - you are getting better!

Posted September 6, 2013

Metro leaders realize that volleyball is a very skill-intensive sport. Players need proper training and a lot of repetitions in a controlled environment under supervision of highly educated coaches. Clinics are designed to introduce volleyball to new players and enhance the skills of older, more advanced players. These clinics prepare you for the coming season and enable you to make a step from just playing volleyball to be a successful player. So take control of your destiny and participate in our clinics to be ready to make it to the best team for your future development.

Pre-Tryout Clinics:

The Pre-Tryout clinic  is a two-hour training session designed to improve the player's individual skills with focus on tryouts. Each player will practice passing, setting, hitting and serving drills that will be used during tryouts, so she feels ready, prepared, and confident going into the tryout. Players will be divided into groups based on their skills.  5 courts will be available for each session.
15 minutes of playing competition will conclude each session to give players an opportunity to implement their newly learned skills.
